Time in Chicago

It has been great to be with all the family. Ivy is a joy, always in a good humour and so funny. I will really miss all the conversations - seemingly spoken in Chinese!

We have enjoyed times in the garden which is reminded me very much of England. When evening was sitting in the garden and I spotted a deer but Kerry and Justin thought it was one of my senior moments but they had to eat their words later when a deer appeared! Lauren wasn't very happy the next day when she found that the deer had eaten her strawberry plants.
Kerry and I spent a few days in downtown Chicago. We did all the touristy things such as the Big Red Bus, a trip on the river, visited a couple of  museums and did lots and lots of walking. We enjoyed cocktails on the 96th floor of the Hancock Building.
Chicago is a really great city lots of open spaces and plenty of park land.

I leave for Cuba on Saturday hopefully there will be some Wi-Fi there and I can keep you up-to-date on my next adventure.
